Pajero Sport Test Drive: A Review

The Pajero Sport was earlier marketed by Mitsubishi as Challenger. Now, the Japanese automaker has made the vehicle available as a re-engineered version of the original Pajero. In this article, we will be discussing about the test driving experience offered by this amazing car.Let us begin by the changes introduced by the automaker. The Sport has an absolutely new rear suspension. Mitsubishi has provided it with a smoother coil-spring set-up, which comes accompanied by a live axle at the vehicle's rear. This combination offers great off-road results; the sturdy differential of the live axle lifts the Sport seamlessly out of the holes. This never happens in case of independent rear suspensions.
Another excellent feature added to this Mitsubishi creation is the company's own version of terrain response. This gives people driving the car the opportunity of dialing up different settings for driving comfortably on rocks, gravel, sand, mud, and snow. In short, the vehicle can be described as a pretty brawny off-road performer. Its ground clearance is also pretty good at 250 mm; its wading depth, on the other hand, is 750 mm.
Let us now discuss about the Sport's on-road performance. In this sector, the Sport beats the Challenger by a big margin. Due to the newly added driving features, the ride offered by the car is comfortable and soft. Turning the SUV is an extremely easy job; you will not need to be a professional to complete steep turns when driving the Sport. The car has a light steering and boasts a significantly impressive turning circle. Both vibration and noise remain suppressed; so, the passengers as well as the driver feel as if they are traveling on a silky road devoid of any potholes and bumpers.
The wheel articulation of this Mitsubishi creation allows it to beat massive obstacles without any difficulty. This quality of the car is enhanced even further with one of its most talked about features, the Super Select 4-WD.
The car's engine performance will also impress the majority of the users. Some might say that it's a bit off bit; however, no one would ever be able to call it unsatisfactory. The fuel economy of the Pajero Sport is rated at around 8 liter per 100 kilometers.
From the driver's point of view, the biggest plus of the Sport is its ability to offer similar driving experience in all terrains. As a driver, you will not need to develop a different skill to take this SUV to a hilly or snowy terrain.

A Brief Overview Into the New Maruti Vitara Brezza

Maruti Vitara Brezza comes in a total of six variants and all of them have been equipped with a Fiat-sourced diesel motor under the hood. Currently, this car is available with the diesel engine option only. While the petrol engine option will be available by the end of this year. As of now, this compact SUV comes only with a five speed manual gearbox option. It is disappointing to see that there is no AMT gearbox option. It looks styling from both inside and out. In terms of the features front, it has all basic essentials right from the entry-level variant itself. There is no doubt that the car offers value for money better than other compact SUVs in its class. However, Vitara Brezza has its own shortcomings. It would be wise to know what you are truly looking for before buying the car.
Engine and Performance:
Like mentioned above, the manufacturer has launched this SUV with a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel unit under the hood. This motor also performs for the likes of Ciaz Ertiga and Baleno. This power plant churns out a power of 66 kW at 4000 rpm and generates a hammering 200 Nm of torque at 1750 rpm. This is a 4-cylinder engine based on a DOHC valve configuration and comes integrated with a common rail fuel injection technology.
This engine helps Maruti Vitara Brezza to reach a top speed of 150 kmph. Its acceleration rate clocks between 13 to 15 seconds to reach 100 kmph speed barrier.

Mileage:
As per the company's claims, Vitara Brezza offers a healthy mileage of 24.3 kmpl, which is at par with other compact SUVs.
Exteriors:
Maruti Suzuki had unveiled the Vitara Brezza SUV at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016, where it grabbed the attention of automobile enthusiasts. As we dig through images of the vehicle, we've got to hand it to Maruti for fleshing out a unique new design for this vehicle, one that you'd find in very scarce SUVs of the day. It has a dual-tone paint scheme on the outside and comes fitted with contemporary cosmetics like 16-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs and projector headlamps. There is a very strong modern element that glares out of the design, and it's clear to us that the company has imbibed principles of modern design.
Its front face redeems an aggressive flavor, with the sharp headlamps that draw into the sides, and a bold grille that comes with the company's marquee at the center.
The Vitara's overall profile is delicately tailored, moving in a streamlined fashion from the bonnet to the rear side.
The overall proportions of the body make an image of harmony, with a low, sharp front end and a bulkier rear. At the rear, it has a spoiler integrated at the top, making for a more distinct image altogether. The tail-lamps sit by the corners of the boot-lid, while emblem of the company is perched right by the center. We thought that the rear-side resembled many other contemporary SUVs of the day, and this let its overall appeal slacken somewhat.

Interiors:
Interiors of the car looks much more dated rather than modern. At the time when every other car manufacturer is focusing on making stylish cars with modern interiors, MSIL introduced Vitara Brezza with not-so good-looking cabin design. Its cabin has enough space for five passengers and comes equipped with important features that are needed for an average passenger. The new Maruti Vitara Brezza is a decent family car with all the comforts on-board.
Stand-Out Features:
This sub 4-meter SUV comes packed with an advanced SmartPlay infotainment system on-board that comes integrated with Apple CarPlay and Mirror link. This system also supports, navigation and voice control.
Another interesting feature in the car is that instrument cluster comes with 5 preset mood lights in the speedometer.
Safety:
Going by the details, Brezza's base variant LDi gets driver airbag as standard, while passenger airbag comes as optional. Anti-lock Braking system and Electronic Brake-force distribution comes as standard in ZDI and ZDI +. While parking sensors are given to the VDI variant. Top-end ZDI+ trim gets reverse parking camera. Overall, this SUV does seem to have a good safety package that is sure to offer high level of protection to the occupants.

Verdict:
In our opinion folks, this first ever compact SUV from Maruti is a value for money product. It is ideal for families and day-to-day usage. However, if you are expecting SUV-like performance out of it, then you might go into disappointment. Maruti Vitara Brezza is a car that looks like an SUV and performs like a hatchback. If you are not really bothered about staggering performance, then buying Brezza won't disappoint you.

BMW i8 Jaw-dropping style and green performance, but why?

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/06/a3/bc/06a3bc395d0abdd2d435ff5831d004f9.jpg
ooooH..... My........God.....!The i8's lightweight Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) "Life Module" passenger cell rides on an aluminum "Drive Module" chassis that houses its complex propulsion system – a 228-horsepower, 1.5-liter turbocharged gas 3-cylinder (half of BMW's 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight six) driving its rear wheels through a six-speed automatic and a 129-hp electric motor twisting its front wheels through a "two-stage" automatic – and a 5-kWh lithium-ion battery. Its drag coefficient (Cd) is an aero-slick 0.26, and BMW says it can run on battery energy alone for up to 22 miles.

Its total system output is a healthy 337 horses, and its EPA economy is 76 miles per gallon equivalent in gas-electric mode, but just 28 mpg when it's gas-only. A Driver Experience Control and an eDrive button offer EV and Comfort modes, plus Eco Pro (12 percent more range) and Eco Pro+ (12 more).

Personalizing Your Car

The automobile you drive is an important part of your daily routine. Getting it to look incredible and how you want is important. Most of the time, money is a constraint or else your vehicle would look different every month. It can be quite expensive to repaint a car or to add those rims to the wheels. Do not be discouraged, since there are cheaper ways of personalizing your vehicle. Finding the right car paint service can help you save a lot.
• Your service paint shop can take care of the scratches and dents. A quick repair will be far cheaper than painting over the automobile completely. By eliminating the little blemishes, it will be as good as new.
• Alternatively, you could go for a surface repair. It helps to avoid the continuous peeling, maintaining the original look of your vehicle. Smooth finishes and gloss will do the job.
• In case you want to change your car details and have a new color, you can do it despite your money constraints. Most paint services have packages for different prices. Pick a basic package and take the best color they can offer.
• Window decals are a good way to personalize your car. Your paint service should be aware of the competitive pricing market. Ask them to help you get the best decals at a reasonable price. Go for the smaller decals that range from $15 or lower.
• Personalizing your car is all about being unique. Using a personalized steering wheel cover gives your automobile the distinctive look in a cheaper way. If short on cash, go for the plain covers, they are a bit cheaper compared to the detailed ones.
• Your car may be a bit rugged on the outside, but personalizing it on the inside helps you forget the situation. Get an interior trim for your vehicle. You can go about it in two ways. One, you can go for special trim paint mostly done in paint service stores, then hand paint yourself.
